Her IMDb, Wikipedia, and Hindsight Wiki pages all list her hometown as Huntington Woods, Michigan. I don't watch Always Open but it could be possible she mentioned something about Asheville. Maybe I'll go through her episode to double check??
Surprisingly not a lot of information about her online that I found.
EDIT: So I watched the episode and she did say she was born there. She moved when she was a kid to (I'm assuming based on these sources) to Michigan.
For Sam Mitchell, I'm not finding anything for his birthday other than a conflicting birth year on the ScrewAttack wiki. They have it listed as just the year 1990. I don't have anything in my notes for his birthday. The person who made his page on here created and edited only pages pertaining to ScrewAttack but they're fairly detailed. So they're most likely not all fictitious edits but I don't know where all their sources came from either.
Does it really now? We can keep it if you want, either/or doesn't matter to me. We technically have a blurb on the front page of the wiki with links to our pages but maybe people don't read the front all that much?
True - even then, i'm honestly not convinced people read the welcome message at all, but just incase any of them do decide to read it, it wouldn't hurt to actually link them to an active admin (yourself or me, ofc), right?
Gday, I was checking out the site and noticed the links on the images of Geoff and Burnie on the homepage go to the wrong places. Burnie's image goes to Geoff's page, and Geoff's image goes to "The Strangerhood". I wasn't entirely sure who/where to send this so I hope it's okay. Plus i'm pretty sure the other mods are inactive or whatever. Just to clarify it's the images, not the names underneath, they are correct.
Oh don't worry, some of these names are already on my to-do list and I have information for them. There's no real reason I suppose for my laziness on procrastinating for creating them. Don't worry, I'll have a few of these made pretty soon (probably some later today).
Also, I'm never one to turn down those who wish to help. Teamwork makes the dream work and all that jazz.
I'm not going to be editing until about 20th November...on account of not being in the country, this as of last week when i began crossing the Atlantic so, if you were wondering where the hell i'd vanished to - question answered...sort of
I know it was said there was no solid evidence of Mariel & Tyler being together, and the recent info from Always Open being revealed (Mariel & Laura), but i'm going to restart questioning it, as in AO Ep. 1 at 39:05 - the question gets asked, and i'm honestly unsure where her answer was low-key sarcasm/just going along with the joke, or if it was a serious answer.
I've never known two relationships simultaneously to be a normal thing...so uhh, halp?
When I first made Tyler and Mariel's pages it was before I started watching anything about them or really knew who they were. I went off of the assumption based on the joking things I've seen online. Mariel is an open lesbian who is in a relationship with her girlfriend Laura, and has been for some time now.
Her and Tyler have never been in a relationship and are just close friends who played with the joke that they are together. But you know, heteronormativity and all that jazz is how the joke started.
Also to add on more, if they are in an open relationship it is entirely up to them whether they are or not. Unless it is explicitly stated, in a non-joking manner, it can be considered untrue. It's a comedic company, it's sometimes hard to get serious answers.
Mariel is vocal about her status in the LGBTQ community and identifies as a lesbian. Which would honestly shoot down the idea of her and Tyler to begin with.
